Oh...tiredness. I suppose it's my own fault. An essay with 15 percent due on Monday, an algebra assignment due Friday, calculus homework for next Wednesday's quiz..it's all piling up discouragingly. But I can't really complain because I 've been procrastinating a lot. Went to see Harry Potter last Saturday with Wendy, Margaret and Winnie. Almost froze to death on the way there (why so much snow in November? Usually hits later...) Ate yummy Mekong vermecilli afterwards. Also finished watching Love Hina and am now searching for episodes of Love Hina Again.

And here comes Queen's Band. Poor, crazy Queen's Band, trotting about in their state of underwearlessness... all while playing 'Oil Thigh' and 'Pharoah, Pharoah'. Dude, I'm impressed!

I'm such a baby

Getting homesick. In September and October I went home almost every other week, either because I planned to, or because I had the opportunity and decided at the last moment to go. And then there were always people coming to visit (i.e. a certain brother who doesn't call when he does and hasn't even been by my room to visit).

Hallowe'en was interesting. Margaret tried to dress me up as a schoolgirl (summer skirt from SCS) and then a skank (scary red pleather pants), but it just doesn't work on a lanky, spectacled geek like me. Sorry. Spent most of the day bouncing around in a chocolate-induced sugar high, opposed to the rest of my floor, who were lurching about in an alcohol-induced stupor. I'm afraid to look into my wastepaper basket because of the multitude of candy wrappers staring back at me. Oh, food and/or chocolate guilt settling in...

Need to update links list, but am too mellowed (read: damn lazy) to do so. Also need to update the SoleDrive page before brother comes after me with a 50 pound mallet. So I'll post them here to share them with the world (also to distract Lydia from her work...MUHAR!): Tomato Nation, Plume, Sure Thing, Babs, and Hot Water.

Went to cell group hot pot last night at Viv's house. Unluckily, was stuck at the table with the inadequate, um, hot pot with several other unfortunate, hungry souls. Disturbing number of people who were in private schools in our cell group: SCS, Havergal, SAC, UCC, etc. Maybe Queen's is a preppy school. With a minority of geeks (go me!) and scary purple people (Can't sleep....engineers'll eat me...)
