Booyah!

The Killer Biology ISU is done and over with! Goodbye tuberculosis. Hello galvanometer.

You know, I would have thought that projects and essays in grade 12 would be more focused on the actual project and the information being presented. Little did I know that after 12 years, having a cover, table of contents and page numbers on the top right hand corner, exactly 1" from both edges of the paper would still be worth 20 flipping percent of the mark! I spent all of yesterday's lunch revising my references because the APA style of references is completely different (and wacked out) from the normal method we use at the school. Everyone else in the media room was freaking out over....making a table of contents. A table of contents. Do we really need to have on eof these at an OAC level? I know it's useful but do teachers really need to take off 5% if we don't have one?

On a completely different topic: Survivor 2 made it's debut last Sunday after Superbowl XXXV. I mean after the post-game show composed of nothing more than meaningless recaps, replays and analyzation of the game. What is there to analyze, honestly? It's a game filled with big, sweaty men chasing each other around, occasionally plowing into each other and breaking a limb or two, all for the sake of this little leather ball. Ahem. On the the other game: a show filled with young (mostly), trim Americans, plotting and scheming behind each other's backs while destroying the other team and eating unmentionably squirmy bugs, all for 1 million dollars, a $100, 000 advertising deal with Reebok, several expensive interviews, a horde of fanboys (or girls), a guest appearence on Rosie and 15 minutes of fame. Yeah, I like the show, but I can't deny the superficiality of it. This series is kind of boring though. You get the feeling that you've seen it all before: initial arrival, scrambling for supplies, challenges, blah blah blah. But I'm still watching it. :) It's like a drug. I got my brother hooked on it, too.

New topic: I can't get this laptop to work properly. More specifically, I can't get the sound to only go through the headphones. I didn't notice for 5 minutes that sound was coming out the laptop speakers. Argh! I want my music! Stoopid mashin.

Later...
I B happy now. Shiawase desu. Why? I don't know.

New name for the blog: Non sequitur. See side bar for details.

Even later:
Why do computers hate me? I spent the last hour trying to get Blogger to FTP my blog to my geocities account. But I kept on getting a "Broken pipe" msg and it wouldn't work properly. But it (semi) works right now. Knock on wood, knock on wood...
