I'm back
Unemployed, tanned and very hungry.
Still need to find a job. Library, office, but no factories. At least, no plastics factories. Worst comes to worst, I'll volunteer at the hospital (if they'll have me, that is. Damn SARS)
Galapagos was great. I miss the sea lions. Bleeeeeh! Bleeeeeh! Tanned, though. Unevenly tanned, con sarnit. Darn equatorial sun!
Very hungry because there's no food in the house.
And in other news... You have got to be kidding me.

Tengo que ir al bano.
The only Spanish phrase I remember from grade 10 Spanish. Still a useful phrase.
Off to Quito tomorrow. Will do my best not to be eaten by a shark or trampled by a giant tortoise. And to find an internet cafe from which I can post something.
My mom is bemoaning the lack of Chinese food we'll face once they reach Ecuador. Ah, pobrecita...
