Yeah right it's only time. Still two weeks until the March Break. BUT. The teachers are all scrambling to hand in the marks today. So none of the marks after today count for second term. *glee*

Oro! I've just watched the first 6 episodes of Rurouni Kenshin. And I still maintain that Kenshin looks like a girl (hey, purple eyes, long hair, and that eternally pink shirt). But it's really, really good. But it's in Cantonese so I can't understand about half of it. I don't even know all the character's names yet (except Kenshin).

Blog: Tim's Journal. Alright. Everytime I log into Blogger I see this guy's blog listed as recently updated. So I finally took a look and this Tim looks eerily like my friend. But he's British.

My gor gor is back in Toronto, visiting from Queen's. It's reading week, but he only has one exam left. That bum. I just found out he's taking spanish. I can't really imagine that: my brother, who hates french, taking spanish of his own free will.

Happy Ent's Day!!

Think President's without the "Presid-". I'm not quite sure what Ent's Dat is, but someone told me it celebrates uniqueness and individuality. No, it's not some quirky Canadian holiday, it's a quirky St. Clement's type holiday. So be happy! Be yourself! Happy Ent's Day!!

However. It's hard to celebrate Ent's Day when one (me) is sick and stuffed up and can't breath properly with gurgling like a fish. Muskoka has come and gone, but it left a horrible cold with me. I'm going through tissue like there's no tomorrow. I actually had to hunt for some fresh Kleenex today. I went into the media room, where a Calculus class was talking (chatting, not working) and walked past the teacher, past the students, grabbed some Kleenex, turned around and walked out. They were giving me weird looks because I didn't say a word. I was in too crummy a mood to say anything.

Another addictive game: Alchemy. Make the whole board gold. Stupid turqoise zigzag...

I Wants My Pig.

It seems that someone on Survivor has a pig fetish.

Mike, the "leader" of his tribe, recently hunted down and killed a cute little black pig. Poor pig. You're running from the deadly fire destroying your home and then suddenly you're being chased by a madman wearing warpaint and holding a Big Sharp Knife. At least it wasn't the spear. To quote Jeff, "that stupid, stupid spear!"

May I present....Skinny Panda by Phil Cho. Currently on hiatus until Monsieur Phil buys himself a new scanner. No worries! There are tons upon tons of past episodes to go through. Very Cute. Except for the stickmen ones, which are a little...uh, graphic. Yes graphic stick people. Example: a young ninja is K.O.ed when his master hurls a cheese doodle at him. But Skinny and his cute pals make up for it. :)

Well, it can't be a good thing when you wake up and all you can see out the window is white. Yesterday the forecast was for cloudy skies, with chance of freezing rain. Now it's snowed 3 inches and the white stuff is still coming down. Well, at least tomorrow will be warm and everything will melt. :)

Four more days until Snowflake! It's at Muskoka Woods Sports Resort again (I hope we get the good cabins this time....with decent bunk beds and no holes in the walls). Different band this time; no more Pennymerchants :( This time it's the SomethingStones. Oh well...

This is so sweet. My schedule tomorrow: Al/Geo, spare, spare, spare, Geo. However. Because the teacher is away and because 80% of the class is gone on a trip, geography is cancelled! Therefore, my new schedule for tomorrow: Al/Geo, spare,spare,spare, spare. I can actually go home early because of my Massive Quadruple Spare! Pah ha ha!

Blogger is being.....slow. To say the least. There's something going on with the people who work there. But They plan to keep Blogger going, so yay!

Because of the upcoming double cohort and the four year high school program in Ontario, my school has decided that many of the courses my year had to take (note: REQUIRED to take) are now either a.) optional or b.) obselete. That is, many of the courses I had to take in grade 10 and 11 were useless. Which means...I wasted about 50 hours of sweat and toil on courses I didn't need! Grade 11 french, Environmental Science (look! Bunnies eat grass!), French Conversation, RK....I could have taken another year of Spanish, but no, I had to take french. *fuming for 5 minutes*

I was just thinking this morning that I was finally catching up on my school work: handed in two assignments today, finished another project...and then BAM! Robotics meeting after school today and tomorrow, course selection meeting tonight at 7, physics quiz tomorow, algeo test the day after, Snowflake (winter retreat) on friday. BLEUGH! Leave me alone!

No school today. Ski day! So I get to sit....at home....and relax :)

Bought the Dido CD yesterday. I've only heard two songs before I bought it, but it's really very good. Surprisingly, it was cheaper at HMV than at either Sam's (they were actually sold out) or Edward's. Edward's is a CD store just north of Yonge and Eglinton, and usually has great prices for newly released albums and a whole wall devoted to used CD's (around 7 to 10 dollars each). But HMV was having a sale, so it was affordable for once.

Still haven't found another site to download KareKano....pooh :( I want to know what happens to Miyazawa and Co. at the mall!

Thank goodness...my archives are back up. I don't know what happened to them. All of a sudden they disappeared.

Bon Jovi - Bed of Roses = good song! Ditto for the Master of Mosquiton theme (the jazzy opening song for the OAV). Too bad it's only 2 minutes long. Actually I'm listening to a CD I made (burned) last night. It's just a list of mp3's I have (that I now realize are of horrible quality). Lot's of anime songs (Cruel Angel's Thesis, Lodoss, etc.), some Bon Jovi (I mean, when you have a brother like mine, 50% of the mp3's will be of Bon Jovi), Bruce Hornsby (who sang the original That's Just the Way It Is. The hip hop version is rubbish and bad for your musical health), and the one song I have by Esthero, That Girl.

But I am...miffed. The site that I download Karekano (His and Her Circumstances) from has removed all the episode from 1 to 12. So I'm stuck with only 87% of episode 11 (right after Tsubasa gets stuffed with food and spazzes). Darn. Where am I going to download the rest? Not only that, but I have to start from the beginning of ep. 11 (I'm using GetRight).

Got an email from a friend to everyone he just added to his address book, a massive email of shoutouts. Here's what he said about me: "LIANE.....ure like and enigma wraped in a puzzle thrown into a vat of confusion for me......how is is possible to stay quiet for that long!?!?!......for those that don't know.....Liane is the world record holder for keeping quiet.....beating the old record of 16 years set by the monks of eastern China....."

....uh, thanks man. o_O (I'm not that quiet. I just don't...talk that much. And he's just really loud ^_^).
