Mmm...street meat... Went to Costco's today with my aunt, my mom and my two cousins. Strange family outing. The building looks like an old abandoned warehouse that was spraypainted a geriatric white and hosed down to get rid of the chalk outlines. Inside, it's essentially a mall with all the mannequins and plastic plants removed. Or a Home Depot store stuffed full of clothes, food and various other things instead of circular saws and 2 by 4's.
We actually had lunch there too. My cousins, 12 and 10, are going through that "I-love-fast-food-feed-me-Mickey-D's" stage and insisted on eating at the little canteen type place in the store. So. we all had hot dog's for lunch. Hence the street meat title.
We must have spent an half an hour digging through piles and piles of clothing, left behind by hordes of mostly middle-aged women pulling wheelies around the store after they had found $10.99 sweaters for their husbands' birthday presents. But the clothes were alright, the same quality as you would find in other, more expensive stores.
The whole time we were there, all I could think about was the old Adam comic strips, with Adam driving home with a huge bottle of maple syrup strapped to the roof of his minivan. Hee hee hee...not too far from the truth.
